TENNESSEE TRIP

Ronda and Brandon went on a trip to Tennessee to visit Jeremy before he heads off to Afghanistan. I was unable to go because I had just gone back to work. I didn't think it would be to cool to go on vacation after being back to work for only 2 weeks. The trip went fine and Ronda and Brandon had a good time visiting.

New Car

Brandon has his drivers permit and is starting drivers training today. Since we will be needing another car, we went out and bought a no frills non gas guzzling Chevy Cobalt for him to drive. I know Brandon would rather have a fast American muscle car, but seems to be satisfied with this beauty. If the price of gas keeps going up I think a lot of American's are going to be driving cars like this. Stay safe Brandon and happy motoring.

My Utah Visit

This past weekend I visited Utah to spend some time with my daughter Michelle, my son in law Josh and my two beautiful grand daughters, Ellie and Olivia. We spent our time hanging out, watching movies and a lot of visiting with each other. Ellie has a very out going personality, while Olivia is the serious one. I did get Olivia to smile a few times which made my day. I wish I could have stayed longer but like the saying goes, "all good things must come to an end". Hopefully I will be able to visit again soon. I must say I loved it when Ellie called me "Grandpa". She would sit next to me and tell me all her favorite things, and was able to recite her alphabet without skipping a beat. She is a very intelligent little girl. I had almost forgot how beautiful Utah is and how close you are to the mountains. The air is so clean, unlike Fresno, which is smog capital USA. Thank you Michelle, Josh, Skip, Sue, Barbara, and my sweet little girls, Ellie and Olivia for a wonderful time that I will never forget.

Dan in Real Life

I recently visited my daughter Michelle and her husband Josh. While I was there we watched the movie Dan in Real Life. The movie is a total crack up. This is one of my favorite scenes in the movie. Dan in Real Life is very funny and heart warming at the same time. If you haven't seen the movie I would highly recommend that you rent it. I give the movie two thumbs up.
